I actually first heard this song on Wunder Wunder’s excellent Everything Infinite album and something about it just jumped right out at me. I immediately started playing “Hail The Madman” over and over and luckily just a few days after my discovery this video was released. The campy Beach Blanket Bingo vibe and never quite explained Lovecraftian horror show perfectly fits the song’s bouncy tongue-in-cheek psychedelic 60’s pop sound. A+ all around for the song and the video.
