Continuing with tonight’s trend of downtempo music we have the smooth R&B of Janelle Monáe’s “PrimeTime”, which sounds a bit like they got Prince to shred guitar over a sample from the “OooOoo” part of the Pixies’ “Where Is My Mind”.  The video tells the story of a girl who works in a retro-futuristic android bar (reminiscent of Blade Runner or Total Recall) who falls in love with a boy who blah, blah, blah… Who cares?
