Twin Shadow is a great discovery. I think it has great crossover potential, as it’s dreamwave pop that also has a lot of punk and rock in it. The lead singer has a voice that’s a cross between Richard Hawley and The Smiths’ Morrissey. I think it’s catchy as hell.

You’re going to be totally sold after listening to “Slow.” Great anthemic chorus, epic guitar work reminiscent of Mutemath and synths similar to Cut Copy. It’s very new-again New Wave. The video appears to be a long lost dating video from the 80’s, but that’s actually the lead singer talking/playing the drums. Enjoy.
