The Hundred In The Hands

On of the best musical trends to come out over the last few years, in my humble opinion, is the merging of dance and indie music. Are they dance? Are they indie? Who cares?! It all sounds awesome to me, and that’s all that matters.

The Hundred In The Hands is one of those bands that seamlessly seems to float between both worlds. Eleanore Everdell has the dreamy voice of an indie chanteuse every hipster will want to talk about, but they add to that mix some great electronic melodies to add a little pep to their step. They’ve got a great EP out now called ‘This Desert’ that you should check out and a full length coming in September. Need more convincing? Check out this EP sampler where Fab 5 Freddy and Grandmaster Flash needle drop tracks off ‘This Desert.’ It’s a pretty cool way to promote an album, if you ask me.
