(80’s Goth/Metal video x 80’s workout video) + Alison Goldfrapp channeling Olivia Newton John = The new video for Goldfrapp’s Alive.

If you haven’t picked up their new album, Head First, yet then at least you probably remember from the last Goldfrapp video I posted, Rocket, that they’re really channeling the 80’s with this album. And this new video to their second single doesn’t disappoint. I’m really enjoying the vibe they’re pulling off right now.

Anyone noticing a theme though? Both Alive and Rocket are amusingly cute and quirky, but with a disturbingly dark undercurrent to them. Do you think Alison’s got a body in the trunk of her car or something?
