Azealia Banks’ latest video is a lot of fun, a tongue-in-cheek take on Sergio Leone-style westerns and 70’s exploitation cinema. The song rocks some classic acid house beats, a 90’s R&B-style chorus and her typical potty mouth rhymes. “Liquorice” is catchy as hell, and I love how it sounds like she’s mixed several different genres into one cohesive whole. Her songs always sound like you stuck my iTunes into a blender and poured out a glass of the results.
