The Weeknd combines modern club sounds like hyperdub / dubstep / darkcore with 90’s R&B vocals to make sex music for 3AM on a Friday night. It’s dark, drug-fueled, and damn sexy. Their video for “What You Need” will give you a really good idea of what I’m talking about.

In what seems like a trend towards my posting fan videos that are even better than the official videos, I give you the NSFW Hasselhoff edit of “What You Need”. I have no idea where this footage comes from and I really can’t decide if this is from an arty softcore porn film or a perfume commercial. You be the judge.
