At first I was a little surprised to discover that Jeremy Jay is actually from California, because this song and video seemed so European. Then I realized that this style of retro 60’s pop has of course become very popular in California recently, but my mind went to where it all started with the Labrador label in Sweden. It also turns out that the footage used in this video was actually taken from a 1969 Danish short film, which, I guess, is what really led me astray. If you like bands like Best Coast or Radio Dept. you’ll dig this tune.
