Here is a really sweet video from the Losers. I combines my love of UK Grime, dance music and crazy cut-and-paste Victorian illustrations all into one video. It reminds me of this surrealist collage artist I learned about in college, but for the life of me I can’t remember his name. Anyone who can help me figure out who it was gets uber-bonus points from me.
[Update: A helpful blog reader has reminded me that I was, in fact, thinking of Max Ernst. Check this book out. If anything it makes for a very cool coffee table book.]

Re: max ernst
helpful blog reader is happy she was right. yay uber-bonus points and max ernst!
Re: max ernst
I should buy a second copy of that book just so I can cut out my favorite pages and frame them.
Re: max ernst
you should! it would make pretty awesome wall art. It’s also kind of cool that the title translates to a week of kindness, surprisingly sweet for surrealists.
Re: max ernst
Uh, I don’t know if you flipped through the book or not, but I think the title might be ironic…
Re: max ernst
Yeah, I kind of got that from the cover alone. Sarcasm doesn’t fare well via blog-comment.
