I doubt that this is so much (or at least, primarily) a pay check job as a “Thank God people are still offering me roles in theatrical releases!” call. His career tanked about five minutes after he won the Oscar and he’s tried turning things around with kids movies before (Snow Dogs – holla!). For a pay check job, I’d refer you to his Hanes commercials with Michael Jordan – I’ve seen what second, third, and fourth tier actors get paid for major advertising campaigns and it would be enough to make a grown (working class) man blush.
