TV Watch

So, Lost had its season premiere tonight.

Was that totally batshit crazy, or what? I can’t wait to find out what the Others are really up to. That openning scene was fantastic. I usually don’t much care for Sawyer, but he made me a life long fan tonight. His moment with Kate was perfect. Everything is just so darn weird. Count me in full force this season. I’m hooked, as always.

The Nine was interesting. I’m still not sure I buy into all of the hype the show is getting, but the premise holds promise. I’ll be really interested to see where this one goes.

    • I won’t say anything, and if I do I’ll be sure to precede it with a spoiler warning. That said, you probably shouldn’t read my comment section, because I can’t make any promises there.

Loved it when Sawyer figured out all the little tricks in his cage, and the guy says, “Yeah, but it only took the bears two hours.” I really liked the episode.

I thought The Nine was kind of boring, though… Not sure I’ll watch it again. (Josh)

    • I was definitely hoping for more with The Nine. What I hope is that they don’t drag out what happened in the bank for forever, that they just start telling us what happened. Because otherwise the show is going to get really old, really quickly. I’m not sure I’ll commit to the show yet, but I’ll check it out next week to see if it gets any better. It definitely didn’t have any oh shit moments like Lost or Veronica Mars.

Of all of the season premieres I’ve seen so far this year, Lost’s is definitely my favorite. Grey’s Anatomy’s second episode was also so much better than the premiere, which kind of sucked.

I think I liked Veronica Mars’ just as much, but Lost was great, definitely. And I’ve definitely enjoyed the last two Grey’s episodes way more than the first couple. I’m hoping that Battlestar Galactica will be the best premiere yet, but who knows.

Oh, and I watched my first episode of The Office last night. Pretty funny stuff. Can’t believe I’ve never seen a full episode before. – Josh
