So Lucas finally broke down and is releasing the original Star Wars trilogy the way we actually remember it, and want to remember it, on DVD. Makes me really wonder if it was fan demand or pure greed that made him change his pretty little mind.

Or DID he change his mind? Was he adamant about releasing only the “special editions” this whole time as a ruse to get people to buy them without hope of ever owning the originals…only now, when sales are falling off and no new Star Wars is in the works until the 3D versions and new TV shows does he offer up the original, untouched versions? Eh? He COULD just have changed his mind…but I wouldn’t be at all surprised if the fat bastard planned this from minute one.
You never know. Lucas is strong with the dark side of the force.
By the way, do you watch Alias? Last week’s episode had allusions to both Star Wars AND LotRs! Crazy.
