Even though it says right on my phone that it has a 4x digital zoom, I can only get it to go between 1x and 2x. Does anyone know why this is?

Probably useless information
On my camera, there’s a distinction drawn between regular zoom and digital zoom. You have to go to the menu and change the zoom setting from regular to digital and then it will zoom all the livelong day. Perhaps you should look for such a setting.
