Home Alone

I doubt I’ve already told you this, but the family is out of the house this week, gone to Cape May, New Jersey. So it’s just me and the dogs here. I feel a little bad for them, leaving them here all day alone. For instance, yesterday I worked the full work shift, so I was pretty much out of the house for almost 12 hours. Can you imagine not eating or going to the bathroom for almost 12 hours? You’ve got to hand it to them, they are troopers.

Saturday Ross came over and we watched a movie and listened to some CDs. We had a pretty good time when we pulled out my old senior year Yearbook and Ross started reading the notes people left for me. What’s amazing is how much you forget…and how much you can then remember. I surprised myself at how many in-jokes from the lunchroom table I could remember. Funny that.

Why don’t you leave food out for the dogs? Just wondering.

    • The answer to that question is, of course, “because they would eat it.” They would just keep eating and eating until they popped. And that is a mess I would NOT like to clean up.
