I’m starting to feel old. I’m not really that old. Soon I’ll be 24, but that’s still not that old. But I feel old now.
There was a Livejournal by that I really liked. She just started it, wrote some great posts and then disappeared. I wonder where she went? If you’re reading this it would be cool if you started posting again. Don’t give up on it yet! I think that blog is dead on the water though. Oh well.
There is a great article in the newest Rolling Stone about how George Bush and the GOP are trying to turn PBS into some sort of educational Fox News station. What the F? There is a great quote at the end of the piece by Bill Moyers, which I’ll repeat here. “We intended to do strong, honest and accurate reporting, telling stories we knew people in high places wouldn’t like,” he recalled. “The more compelling our journalism, the angrier the radical right of the Republican Party became. That’s because the one thing they loathe more than liberals is the truth. And the quickest way to be damned by them as a liberal is to tell the truth.” I’d add to that that the sign of a good liberal is that they are quick to point out the truth no matter if you are a conservative or a liberal. Why live in the dark?

She’s my best friend, and she decided that she was writing more in her LJ than in her regular journal so she deleted the online version. Sad, I know. I keep trying to talk her into it again…if anything, so we can keep in touch. I will email her again about it.
Me
Okay…I’ve decided to come back! It’s nice to be missed. I was having fun with this and it’s a great way to look busy at work in my cubicle, but as with many things in my life, I found myself becoming obsessed with posting. Is this a bad thing? In real life, I write a lot and spend 10 hours a day on the computer (it’s work, I’m not that big of a geek), so it was all getting a bit repetitive. But, I missed it. How’s everyone? I have some catching up to do! 🙂
cheers.
