I’m reminded of several scenes from Requiem for a Dream.
Why … WHY did I feel I should watch that on my own?!
That’s exactly what I was thinking! I don’t know why I didn’t just write down that it was just like the scene in Requiem for a Dream (or the scene on the Simpsons when Homer was eating the McRib).
Requiem is one of those movies that you should never watch for the first time alone. I also did so and at the completion of the film quickly went out looking for others to sooth my aching soul.
