I’m usually right on top of all the new releases. Being a major geek with a spending problem will do that to you. How then it was that I completely missed the release of the newest CD of one of my all-time favorite bands, The Cardigans, is beyond me. Hell, I even thought they had broken up after their last amazing album, Long Gone Before Daylight, their best yet. Thankfully EW.com was there to save the day, hyping up their new single. (In all fairness, the album isn’t actually out in the US yet.) Almost instantly I went and bought Super Extra Gravity. Life is good again.
Here’s the video of the newest single for you all to enjoy:
Go buy Long Gone Before Daylight.

oh, yay!!
that video was cute. 🙂
i like them, too but i don’t own a thing they’ve put out.
=\
Well, if you are going to start buying their albums, definitely start with Long Gone Before Daylight. That album was a huge step up in quality for them. After that I’d get Life, which is so bubbly happy that you’ll walk around for days with a big grin on your face.
I’ll let you know how the new album is when I get it, which unfortunately won’t be until after I get back from Seattle. 😦
The Cardigans are definitely on the short list of artists whose new albums I must get at all costs. I just love them. Which is a little ironic, I know, as the song that made me take notice of them was “Love Fool”.
well i like that song, too.
and i have a remix of explode that i love.
have fun in seattle!
