Anyway, you can blame my friend Josh for the following…

He wrote to me that he just figured out that he’s seen 1,001 movies for the first time since 2000.

Mine don’t go back quite as far, unfortunately. What I do have is 2003-2005, and for shits and giggles, here we go:

2003: 246
2004: 291
2005: 240 (so far)

Yep, so that’s a grand total of 777 films I’ve seen in the past three years, for the first time. I’m a little surprised that I’m only six away this year from what I did in 2003. 777, that’s kind of funny that when he wrote me that’s the number that I’m at.

For total films I’ve seen since 2003:

2003: 362
2004: 352
2005: 287

For a grand total of 1001! Wow, that’s another freaky number. In the last three years I’ve seen 1,001 movies. That just blows my mind.
